My hope for this upcoming election is that every person that is of the age to vote exercises their right to do so regardless of their political beliefs. So often I hear others saying that their vote does not count but this is not true and their voices deserve to be heard. We are the citizens that are making the choice of how our country should be and we need to all get out and vote on November 3rd!

This podcast discusses the importance of voting. Some look to not voting as not caring. If you are of age you should vote. The presidential election is not the only time a person should vote. It is important for a person to vote at every election. This includes the Senate, house of representatives, judges, and health care to name a few. It is up to the people to make sure our voices are being heard.

(Garrett Klemm MAN3340 extra credit)- I agree that if you care about your future, you should educate yourself and go vote on whatever you think will positively impact the way we live. I should vote more, I find myself focusing more on presidential elections. We should not abuse our opportunities to have our voices heard. We are lucky to have a choice!

Everyone should vote I do agree with that but I also believe that it should be an educated vote. So often what I have seen with politics is that people will vote for who their parents vote for or for a person based off personal agenda and not necessarily what they can bring to the table. If the only information you are getting is from your parents, cnn or Fox News you are doing yourself a disservice. If voting is important to you take the time to research the person.

Miceli - MAN4442. It is so utterly important to vote! I love the quotes in the beginning from former presidents. I do want the best thing for my self and everyone around me. Voting is not only crucial for the presidency, but also for the state and federal levels that have an impact on life as well. Everything is decided by the government and it is important to do what you can and fight for what you believe in! I will absolutely be voting in the upcoming election!

It is extremely important to vote. We all do get the feeling of well my vote won’t count so what if my one vote is not registered. This may seem true to you but if you think like that what makes you be the only one. Topically their are about 5 million people who don’t vote in the ages of 18-35 5 million votes would have changed most of the president’s we had by now this is why it is extremely important to vote

I was surprised to learn this week that there are some religious subgroups who refuse to vote. As a Christian who is extremely exited to vote in my first presidential election, that makes no sense to me. We have a responsibility to vote people in who will uphold the Constitution and our freedoms.

Voting is a right that we often take advantage of. By not voting, we are not expressing our voice and letting others choose our future. Each vote adds up to an overall decision. We should always use our voting privileges to decide who we want to lead us.
