I believe everyone who has the ability to vote should vote. It is a constitutional right that so many fought and/or died for. I wish more people thought that their opinion mattered, and that more people would vote, not just for the presidential election, but all elections. All small town elections, and amendments that you have an opinion about should be voted for.

Jalecia Chambers MAN4442 I really wish the media put as much effort into the voting during other elections outside of just the presidential election. During the 2020 election I received over 100 text messages asking me to vote. In 2018 I don't remember getting 1 text asking me to vote. We have to do better

Voting equal our freedom. Some people believe if your don’t vote then you do not care about democracy. Voting makes a difference in our society from climate change, health insurance, college tuition etc.

(Shion Simpson 3240) The idea of voting is giving the people of a country the opportunity for their voice to be heard. A lot of people in the past fought our rights to be able to vote today. Everyone should honor their sacrifices and make sure to vote for what you think is the best option for our future.

This year was the first time I ever voted and I’m glad I did. Having the right to vote is a privilege that no one should take advantage of. When I vote I feel like I’m making a difference.

I voted for the first time this election and I am so glad that I am able to exercise my rights to vote. Many people don’t vote because they feel that they don’t know enough about politics or they don’t care. I think that as a citizen it is important to learn about politics.

Having the opportunity to exercise our rights is an absolute privilege that we all should take advantage of. I could not agree more with the fact that the only ones that can take the American people's right to vote, is the American people themselves, and sadly many people continue to not exercise their right or privilege. In my case if there was a very tight decision where I liked or disliked both candidates, then just find a single reason to get one over the other and take use your privilege.

Voting is a privilege that many Third World countries don’t get to have and I feel it is taken for granted here. This is the first election I have ever voted in, and even though people just vote for the general election, I feel people should take a look at the local government as well and voted there too.

I think this podcast was informative as we had just went through our own election. Voting is a vital part of being a citizen in the United States because every vote counts as we just saw in the past election. I think more people need to understand why it is so important that they vote and get their opinion out there.
