I sometimes feel like the lack of drive for voting in people just comes from a lack of engagement in society as well as not having strong beliefs. When these things are lacking, people won’t care about what gets elected in any regards. But if you have something you care about then you should always be involved, and your vote will always matter.

Democracy is far from being perfect, there is in fact a few flaws to it. Democracy is nonetheless the one system of gouvernement where all are given an equal voice, a voice that is only a dream in many countries around the world. Voting matters because everyone's voice matters.

It's weird to see that people still think their vote won't matter when counties and states have been decided by hundreds of votes before! I like that you also included that it isn't just the president we are voting for. A lot of the amendments that we vote on decide the lives of many non-voters.

A lot of people don't vote especially young people. Some young voters don't vote because some don't believe their voice matters or just don't see the point of voting. A lot of people don't understand how voting is a privilege that we must use to bring the change we want in this country.

Many people don’t want to vote. This is a mistake because we have the opportunity to have our voices heard. We get to decide how our country is ran, and that is an amazing privilege. It is important for more people to see that, so that the American people can all be heard, and the majority can be satisfied. We must not deprive ourselves of this privilege and instead take advantage of it.

Voting is an important privilege many have fought to have. Voting gives citizens a say in what happens in there own communities. It is extremely important to me and my family. I always say you can't complain about what's happening in your community, state, or country if you don't vote. If you don't care on election day don't care until the next one. Not voting silences your voice. See you on election day!

I am truly grateful what we live in a country where we can vote. It is a right. Many people complain but do not do anything to make changes and that starts with voting specially for local government because we are all affected.
