(Garrett Klemm MAN3240 extra credit)- Some people look down upon the word servant, but this type of leadership seems very positive and effective. I enjoy helping people, I want to see all of us succeeding in life. I won’t let people diffuse my spark for ideas and the way that I think. This leadership style really does reflect my personality because sometimes I feel mean when I give orders. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. Great podcast!

Miceli - MAN4442. Servant leader is a servant first. It is important to make sure peoples highest needs are being met. I found this concept extremely interesting as I have not heard much about it beforehand. Servant leader shares power and puts others first to help perform. That is the leader that I hope to be one day. I find it so inspiring to be a positive guidance rather than just an authority figure. I want to do well and help as much and as well as I can.

I think utilizing some of the ideals of a servant leader is very beneficial for anyone in management. Ensuring that your employees needs are met and that I as a manager and leader make their well being as a priority will indicate how much they are valued.

Oh my these commandments are beautiful. We should remind ourselves that good deeds will not always be appreciate but we must do it anyway. A servant leader doesn’t serve to get praise they serve because it’s the right and good thing to do.

It’s good to hear about servant leadership. They are a great asset to the world. This episode was very encouraging. The leader should care about the employees then the organization because it’s all about team work. Without the people the organization would fail.

I had no idea that Robert K. Greenleaf that coined the term “servant leadership.” I firmly practice and believe in servant leadership. The podcast is in line with the thoughts of the Chinese philosopher Confucius (497 BC) whose idea was that leaderships primary function is to serve its people (servant leadership).
