Servant leaders are the best kind of leaders and mmm they also take their employees into account. They ensure that their employees are well catered for. They put others before themselves and I feel this helps create the best type of work environment, one where the leader understand his subordinates.

I’ll take a servant leader over a materialistic & egotistical leader. Servant leaders think and focus their attention on bettering their team and leading by example. Like the previous podcast mentioned.

Servant leaders are leaders who concentrate on their employees/members and put their needs first. This is extremely important because many leadership issues happen because they put customers or other things before their employees which makes the employees feel unwanted/needed. Being able to put your employees first helps to keep those employees around and show that they are needed.

Servant leaders try to grow their employees. It is important in leadership to help build your employees to flourish and move into their future career. Using this style helps the leader find internal employee instead of searching outside the company when a job opening occurs. I worked with Southwest Airline employees years ago and they truly loved their job. Herb Kelliher was an iconic leader!

Listening to the Paradoxical Commandments are so true to life, what a brilliant 19 year old he was. Servant Leaders serve those who work them by uplifting and developing their employees rather than demanding them. These employees will be more engaged and will perform at a higher level for the corporation. I am proud to say that I am a servant leader.

This podcast discusses servant leader ship. This leader ship puts the employee first. This provides the employee to be more more focused and driven with less turnover. This leadership style is not used by all managers but it should as it is a way to serve people.
