MAN3303 - A servant leader serves first. Helping others and helping employees develop themselves to be their best self benefits you as well. When an employee feels like they have a manager who cares about them and their future makes the employee want to work harder and do a better job so that they both succeed.

The servant leader comes from serving first. They are willing to go through with their father is go through or have gone through to make sure things are attainable. But I wanted to level with your father is willing to do the same work as the followers, it will help grow the community and the group. This can go around the world around us. There are self-centered leaders who mandate and one things done but are willing to help their own.

A servant leader leads by example and sacrifice. I personally feel I respond best to a servant leader, it makes me feel much more inspired to do my work to the best of my ability. The Case for Servant Leadership gives us many principles to follow in order to fully endorse our inner servant leader. The practice of these will make us much more impactful leaders.

A servant leader's primary focus is the growth and well being of others. Servant leaders put the needs of others first and help develop and perform as highly as possible. Servant leader's are the ideal type of managers, they will help empower and support their staff and employees. In turn, it will make the employees feel like they are meaningful and have a purpose, this will also create better performance results. They do say, you cannot run a business without employees.

Hmm...servant leaders. I like that they tend to others first and themselves last. I know that, without even realizing it until now, I do a few of the paradoxes listed in my everyday life. So, continuing to do them on the job will not be difficult to do. It comes naturally. Plus, this makes me want to fly Southwest

MAN4442 EP 12. Not to sure about this. There are some valid points but not my style. I agree with being a great listener and fighting for a few underdogs along the way. We certainly need to show empathy to all. But people need a visible leader at the top to literally look up to. When we are down we stare at the ground. The leader walks in and we look up and listen for guidance.

Barbara Creasy-extra credit-I have difficulty agreeing with Servant Leadership. A manager is not simply a manager generally. A manager has usually come to the position because of their knowledge and skills. A manager will use the tools to lead and uplift not because of practicing service leadership, because employees look up to their leader and hope to attain the skills and knowledge their manager exemplifies.

This is such a great podcast to nurture tour leadership skills. I really enjoyed this episode, because I think in our society is so important to find server leadership; during the current circumstances I find that the only way we can move forward as a society is by following leaders that have this type of leadership.

A servant leader focuses on the growth and wellbeing of people in their community. I learned that putting the needs of others first is the real aspect of a servant leader. This podcast gives us a different way of looking at a servant leader. It also teaches us to always do good.

I found this episode to be very informational and has taught me that an excellent manager is one that helps the employee succeed rather than demand success. Support for the workers is essential for employee retention and a positive work environment. Overall, I really enjoyed listening to this episode and cannot wait to listen to more!
