Servant leadership may be my favorite type of leadership. The characteristics of a servant leader are what, when asked, I define as a leader in general. Its being a loyal, trustworthy person, that is willing to do anything they can, even if it means putting themselves down, to make sure that another person, or the organization as a whole, is successful. Power is earned after conducting proper leadership.

Jalecia Chambers MAN4442 I never heard of this type of leadership. It is pretty self explained in the name. Servant first and leader second. Most leaders want to help and serve in any way possible. I really like this episode! I really understood it

(Shion Simpson MAN 3240) Servant leaders are servants, or servers, first. They put others’ priority and needs before theirs. A servant leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people within their communities. It is very reassuring to know that there are people like this who put others before themselves.

Servant leaders are those who do not give up even though they know the consequences. They serve first and bring happiness in others although others may bring them down. This podcast was really helpful in showing me to never give up

In my opinion, this is where some companies fail in leadership. A leader should help employees perform to the best of their ability by providing the things that they need. Doing this will give a better experience to your customer. This could lead to higher sales or other benefits.

A well respected leader is one that not only knows the moments to take command and make things happen, but also the one that has into consideration how his or her employees feel in the work place. A great leader inspires rather than just give commands. A great leader trusts the employee's abilities to do things while still making sure everything goes well. A great leader is 1 step away from true success

Great leaders know that it is their purpose to serve the people. Not only in governments but in the business world as well. As long as a leader puts the needs of others ahead of their own and supports them, their followers will reciprocate that feeling towards back the leader.

Servant leaders are leader who help and serve people. I believe helping people will make someone a better leader. Servant leader choice serving first and a leader choices power first. Servant leaders are focus on helping individuals and community grow. If more people were servant leaders I believe many problems in our society would be fixed.

This episode can help me because it is encouraging. It talks about Paradoxical Commandments and the one that stands out the most is “If you do good people will accuse you of selfish motives, do good anyways”. All commandments are great but I have experienced the use of this commandment personally, and I appreciated this podcast for encouraging me to continue doing so despite trails and people negative options. In this podcast I recognized many qualities I acquired.
