The mind is what the mind is fed very true. If you allow yourself to have a mindset that is negative then you will live a negative life, the same goes for positivity. I have noticed in the last several years of my own life that my mindset changes depending on who I allow in my circle, and therefore I removed all negative from my life and brought in positivity.

(Garrett Klemm MAN3240 extra credit)- Having the ability to control tor environment is very helpful but I feel like not everyone has a choice. I always try to eat healthy and I take extra vitamins. Eating junk food can make me feel lethargic which will cause me to be less productive. I agree that learning new cultures can influence the way we act. I will do more research on ways to make positive changes to my life. Great podcast!

Miceli - MAN4442. I find the brain & process of thinking an extremely interesting topic. The brain is such a powerful yet delicate tool. “The body reflects what the body is fed” is so important. Environment is your mind food. Everything is reflected through your environment. Surrounding myself in a positive area with smart, positive people will reflect positively on my brain and the way I process things. It is extremely interesting to imagine who I would be if I was raised in a different way.

This is an amazing podcast. You are absolutely a product of your environment. My mom would always say surround yourself with people who are smarter than you, read books that challenge and watch movies that inspire. If we want to be better we have to change our environment and what we feed our mind.

This podcast is so true! If we surround ourselves with negative people we only see negative and we surround positive we see positive. Environment is key and that’s a fact. It’s your outlook but it depends on how you take it in with the good or the bad or both. At the end of the day, it comes down to you and your perception. After all, you are a product of your environment.

We are a product or our environment, so feeding our mind, just as we are what we eat, mind food includes choosing optimal stimulating environments and shying away from unhealthy environments. We have the option to control our overall behavior by safeguarding our minds, good and bad environments will shape our values, beliefs, attitudes, and overall behavior.
