This is a great podcast that helps me understand our brain and the way we think. Depending on the environment we choose daily, it can determine the way our mind will think. Mind food is your environment and influences of conscious and subconscious thoughts. Feeding your mind with positive thoughts and in a positive environment will help your mind flourish in a positive way.

In this episode, the idea of physical and mind “foods” are exposed via our physique and personality is explained. The mind food that we consume is reflected in how we view life and treat others. We must surround ourselves with people who are positive, well-rounded, and open-minded in order to be the best person we can be. This episode reminded me of how important it is to take care of our emotional health as well as our physical health.

Whatever we feed our minds is what we will get out of it. We live in an ever changing world and we feed our minds with so many things. It is important to take into account what we feed to our minds. Try to fill it with good positive things.

I really enjoyed this podcast, mind food, the way we were feed to be the person we are. We can change, we can be positive people by being surrounded my positivity. There is a quote I heard many times in Spanish and this podcast made me think about it, “Tell me who you hang out with, and I’ll tell you who you are”.

Mind food is something we can’t buy at a store! I like that point because our mind is filtered based on what we are surrounded by.

Very informative I feel like all the podcasts are for me like professor stated with the kind of person you surround yourself with reflect and have influence on you. When you surround yourself with positive people you become a complete different person. Feed ourselves with good food will be good for ourselves is the same for people we see each day.

Learning about new cultures and environments is crucial especially nowadays, being able to understand and educate yourself on these topics is extremely important. Having a positive outlook on life is not only important for the people around us, but for ourselves and our mental health as well. Being able to try and see the positive in everything is a hard task to accomplish but is needed.

Having a positive mind is very important to living a positive life. Negativity is draining and can result in a life of failure. Negative people can change someone’s attitude if they are not careful. It’s similar to office gossip easy to get pulled into it but if we try to stay positive we will see it coming and won’t be influenced by it. Loved this podcast

Extra Credit-Environment is a huge external factor on how we live. Our mind adjusts to where we are and the people we interact with. That is why I try to keep a clean home. When I have a clean home, I live a more positive life and eat more cleanly. Negativity is such a strong emotion and it is ideal to avoid negativity. As the saying goes; misery loves company.
