Happiness is contagious. If you wake up daily and try to leave your worries behind, then your work will be your happy place. I try to do this daily whether I feel happy or sad inside. I walk into work and happily say good morning everyone and great everyone I see with a smile and a hello. I try to remember that being negative is not going to make the situation any better and I just think of things that bring me happiness.

I really enjoyed this podcast and I agree with both Dr.Ricardo and the Dalai Lama in that living a purposeful and happy life is something that we all should strive toward everyday. However, given there is so much negativity in the world today, it’s not so easily accomplished. Surrounding yourself with what/who you love is what I think, an essential way of accomplishing this.

This episode of Dr. Ricardo‘s podcast teachers the importance of happiness in the workplace. If a person is not feeling well or feeling stressed they may come across as uninterested in what is being communicated. If a person is happy they are truly interested in what is being said.

This is an awesome point of view to be shown from the Dalai Lama. Dr. Ricardo explained what the Dalai Lama meant when discussing living a purposeful life. All of these tips to lead to a happier life were very helpful and I can see my self implementing them in the future. Positive thinking is essential to this way of life along with activities to make yourself happy.

I agree with the Dalai Lama thoughts on happiness and achieving it by living a purposeful life. I do not associate my happiness with any of my goals. I know that is it is within and about being at peace with myself and life. Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic but I’ve been taking it one day at a time, focusing on my school work and being optimistic. This episode teaches about happiness and characteristic of happy people.

The Dalai Lama believes people seek to be happy but do not always know how to achieve this. Happiness is based on your attitude and your perspective. If we have a positive attitude at work and at home, then we will be much happier overall. I appreciate the awesome pointers given in this podcast!

I enjoyed this podcast it was very informative and gave me some great tips for the workplace. I like the point you made about finding that area that makes us happy and then admitting yourself in those environments. Using the idea of the Dalai Lama in finding happiness in the workplace is a great point. As I’m changing jobs and experiencing new job roles, I think that it is important to find that happiness at work and trying to do more of those projects in the workplace.
