This podcast talks about the pursuit of happiness. Most people do not know how to become a happier person or choose not to. I learned that even though we are constantly being challenged we can still be happy. I will try to convey happiness in various areas of my life and cultivate happiness as well as encourage others to do so.

Achieving happiness is finding the things in our lives that make us happy and spend more time with this things. Happy people approach life in a more positive way, we should all strive to be happy. Filling our lives with the activities or environment that makes us happy, will create a purposeful life in which we truly enjoy. This episode was very important as happiness is getting more difficult to come by in our current pandemic.

Happiness is very important in everyone Life if you’re happy you make the people around you happy but if you’re sad you bring a sense of sadness towards the ones that surround. Happiness give you a different sense of humor it puts a smile on your face it makes you willing to help it it is very good to be happy. A Happy boss makes the workplace a fun place to be but if you have a grumpy boss then you will be working in misery.

(Garrett Klemm MAN 3240 extra credit)- I believe that happiness is the most important thing in life. Bad thoughts makes me feel unhealthy, stressed, and it makes me communicate less and separate from people. Positive thoughts make me happy so I try to find the good in situations. Bad energy is contagious, and happy people smile more and can make other people feel happy. I’m more productive and helpful when I’m happy too. Great podcast!

With the way the world is right now there is many negative things that can consume our mind, but changing our viewpoints is extremely beneficial. Happiness is worth it! It’s so helpful to spend time and energy into focusing on what makes us happy honestly and fully. It is not situational. Being around happy people reflects on yourself! It is an active choice

Is creating a goal to be happier the way to go? I believe so because accomplishing a goal will make a person happy and for filled. Dalia Lama believes in living a purposeful life, I also believe that. I am still trying to create a personal life for myself. Feeling happy is a choice; people choose to be happy, angry, sad etc. We must make happiness a habit it needs to be our priority.

I recently read the chapter about conflicts and being in the pandemic we are in now has caused stress that leads to conflicts. However, I learned that the thought of having a purpose (even if it's for a hobby) an lead a person on striving to their goal successfully. The feeling of being happy works well in groups and teams as it leads to more communication and less negative thoughts.
