This is a great podcast for the pandemic times. It helps us to change the way we think, and help to understand how to change from being unhappy to have a happy mindset.

This podcast was great. Seeing the world from a different lens will help an individual be happier. This podcast has helped me realize that I need to cultivate the mindset to be happy. Lately with the pandemic its hard but after hearing the points Dr.Ricardo brought out I realized that I need to condition my thinking and do things that makes me happy, creating a happy environment.

It’s my opinion, to be happier, you first need to know what it is you’re looking for. Say you want to be happier at work. What is it you want? It might be flexible hours, work from home opportunities or whatever it is you are looking for. You need to look at your situation or seek out those factors. If the positives outweigh the negatives, you may begin to be a happier person

Happiness does not come from your circumstances or your situation. Happiness comes from a choice that you make within and you need how to choose it. You must determine to control your actions regardless of how you feel. No matter how bad your life seems to be going, you can always find d something positive. Fill you head with good, positive, and productive thoughts. Take a break from your screen reduce the amount of time you spend watching the news. To be happy is something you have to do daily.

Thalia Tobon - MAN 3240 How to become a happy person may seem like an easy question but it's much more complicated. It all depends on the individual. It cannot depend on friends, family, or co-workers. The individual must find what they enjoy and not care what others think.

Happiness is a choice. We choose to be happy. Being selective on what we hear is crucial. Surrounding ourselves with positive individuals is important.

This podcast has touched on many great points and I truly do see happiness as being essential towards being motivated in the workplace. I believe that happiness is something that we should always strive for in all aspects of life and this podcast has further made me realize this.

This podcast made many great points about happiness in general and in the workplace. I loved how you brought up that feeling happy as in “active choice“ and “have it we must cultivate”. It was great that you gave us questions to ask to help us figure out what brings us joy and peace and the benefits associated with this in general and at work.

Happinesses is truly a choice and as long as we can find positivity in any situation as long as we keep a positive outlook. Happinesses is a journey, not a destination!

MAN3240- Before this episode, I never had heard of Dali Lama. In the past 8 months of working remote, I have felt rather unhappy in general, there are limited social activities being stuck in the house all day and each day feels the same. Outside of the pandemic, I would say I was quite happy with my life. In an effort to be happy, I have taken up some new hobbies, enjoyed my time with family and spent more time doing things I like - it is more than the physical though, happiness is believing.
