I love this! Happiness is a choice to make everyday, not a feeling we should get only when something goes our way. While it may be challenging, telling yourself you're happy even in a bad situation, you'll have a better more joyful outlook on life and in that, other people around you will feel it too.

Happiness inspires good performance. And is contagious just as negativity is contagious. Happiness goes further. A happy employee does more. The Dalai Lama just like the bible says to think on good things. Happy thoughts produce happy actions.

Happiness is definitely a key factor in the performance of most of us, I can absolutely relate to the fact that when I'm feeling "down," I do not perform as well as when I am feeling joyful, so finding some purpose, something that gives you the drive to do and be better is probably the most important thing in order to succeed

I have always struggled with happiness in the workplace. The only time I am happy at the workplace is when I finish a job and get paid. I need to work on conveying happiness and setting goals.

I really liked this podcast! Being cognizant of areas in my life where I can be creating goals to achieve happiness is a very eye-opening thing. It’s true that happy people tend to have a better outlook on life and are more optimistic. I want that for myself.

Dr. Ricardo did a great job mentioning the Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama stated that we must find happiness and family, friends, work, and the community. Personally I struggle to find happiness but when we condition our way of thinking with things that make us, we will automatically begin to be more contentment, joy and tranquility.

Determining what makes us happy as individuals is a necessity. Happiness in the workplace can have a domino effect, when one person is in a bad mood it can slowly cause everyone in the office to be in a glum mood. I personally try and find the little joys in life to get me through the day like finding the joy in my morning cup of coffee to kick start my day.
