I feel as individuals we are all seeking excellence whether it be in someone else eyes or ours. Excellence is an unachievable goal as we all make mistakes and there is no true definition of what excellence is as it would be something different for each of us.

Listen to someone when they talk is a form of excellence. Many people do not listen to others they just want to get there thoughts in without actually listening to the other person. Excellence is a way of life.

This podcast is great. I’m currently looking into buying a car, Honda are top of the line and they prove their cars are worth the pay. Given that example individuals should develop excellence. In the business industry displaying excellence is what makes an individual stand out and lead to success. I personally could apply extra excellence into my life.

Leaders must always put their maximum effort in govern the norms and values of the organization. The values that a firm should have are: Excellence, Leadership, Collaboration, Agility, Respect, and Responsibility. Strategic objectives must be above any other type objective it represents the essence of the business philosophy.

Aiming for excellence is something we should all do regardless of our level of ambition. There is a phrase that goes along the lines of " aim for the moon because if you fail you'll end up in the stars". Aiming for excellence will make you develop a mindset of engagement in all the tasks you might carry out which will be seen and appreciated by others around you.

We definitely had something to learn from Honda and Toyota. It's pretty crazy to see how much Americans themselves recommend these brands over American brands. They have proven themselves over American brands and the quote with them hiring 50 more engineers and GM hiring 50 more lawyers is a sad representation of our culture now.

I enjoyed this podcast about excellence. This episode was very informative. I learned that excellence is something that employees must work towards to provide amazing service. Excellence can be achieved when employees want to do better in their work performance.

We must all, a more than likely do, strive for excellence when we wake up every morning. We get up and tell ourselves that we will be the best that we can be. If we are constantly doing our best, reaching goals, and becoming successful then we have reached excellence. The important thing to remember is that it doesn’t stop there, we must continue to maintain the excellence once it has been achieved.

Thalia Tobon - MAN 3240 This episode was quite interesting because it focuses on how our attitude defines us and how each of us has a level of excellence to uphold. Each day we need to get up and put out best foot forward in order to always reach our goals. A big lesson I learned was that excellence is not a destination, it is a way of life and it is a skill that we need to work on each and every day.
