I definitely agree with you on how confidence is supper important. It shows you are sure of your self and people love to be around other people like this. Also it’s a great practice to have your employees as motivated as you are to preform their best at work this is the best state to be in because everyone tends to get along and move better.

What I got from this podcast is that my achievement first starts with me, which is to figure out a goal and express that vision to others. I need to be a leader who acknowledges others when they are doing right. I also need to be someone who only expects what I show or give to others.

Having confidence in yourself is a great thing to have. Also, knowing the difference between being cocky and confident makes a person a great leader. Being a leader has a lot of responsibility, and if you don’t have confidence in yourself, then no one will see you as a leader. Believing in yourself and having trust in your teammates will make you a great leader and manager.

While I was listening about Klopp and his 9 characteristics I thought about one of my favorite athletes. Tim Tebow is a great leader. He made a promise to himself, his team, and his fans that he would work hard. After that promise he led the Gators to the national championship.

I had never heard of klopp however the 9 characteristics described are awesome. Leaders really need to be clear and concise in their vision and identity. And pull out the best from their people while keeping things simple and modeling human connection. Understanding the concept of do as Leaders do and that it is not just about doing as Leaders say. Modeling leadership behavior is key!

Klopp’s theories behind motivation and productivity is extremely interesting. The 9 characteristics are things that can be applied to everyone. Confidence in what you do and who you want to be is so essential, I couldn’t agree more with you. Building trust is important in order to lead by example. I agree that managers who are willing to show you by example are easier to work for.

I am not a sports person so I had never heard of this story. The 9 points are spot on and will be using this podcast in training meetings. I think that the coach gives leaders a great roadmap of how to be a great leader.

I’m in your MAN3240 class// You’ve used a leader that I can relate to because I like sports. Being confident in your self-identity is a great leadership characteristic because it can make other people feel confident in your leadership. Leading by example is more effective than giving orders because people will trust you more if they know you practice what you preach. Being energized, building relationships, and delivery of your word can make people feel more comfortable.
