This podcast is great and very informative on this book. I think that Win/Win is a great concept in a workplace or my personal life. While taking on a role at work that I am training new employees it is essential to know how a situation can be a win/win. That working together can create that win/win. This podcast was great on highlighting the the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

I absolutely love the bank illustration. Depositing = positive and Withdrawal = negative. And habit 5...wow. I don’t know which one I like those most. But listening is definitely a number one aspect in my life. I’m working on being a good listener and then repeating what I say to make sure I understand the person clearly.

Out of this second part I believe that habit 4 is definately the best! Coming to compromises is always the best if we desire to truly reach an interdepence level of development. Regardless of the context, any interaction is bound to encounter negotiations of higher or lower level. The success of these negotiations can dictate how fruitful a relationship can be.

Loved the part 2 of 7 habits as a fantastic reminder mid-business-week as energy levels, patience, etc are waning. I caught myself tuning out today on a business call, and reminded myself about my listening skills such as empathizing and attempting to ask qualifying questions and restarting what was said. Great podcast! - Jenny E K Riddle

In this podcast the second part of the review of Steven Covey’s 7 Habits my favorite part of the review is the section on synergy. Working together for strength is the most positive idea for a group or team of managers.

The 7th habit really speaks to me. There’s been a lot of times in my life where having a sharp saw would have been helpful. Great reminder and I’d definitely recommend the book!

Listening in part 5 is very important and probably my favorite as well. It’s my favorite because I need to focus on this more. Too many people are all about themselves and don’t listen to others anymore and it’s irritating. Listening to someone is about respect and is the right thing to do. This podcast was great, too!

I really have to get my book out and re read Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I enjoyed the part of the podcast talking about the emotional bank account. Getting present to how much we are actually being a contribution or whether were depositing in a motivational and positive way it's important to see. Withdrawing or taking away from people in a negative manner is not effective by any means. Great podcast and thanks for sharing Stephen Covey and the 7 Habits.

I just listened to part one and had to find part two immediately. The 7 habits is eye opening to things that are essential in making us the most productive versions of ourselves. Emotionally deposits are important in any relationship. Understand that the end goal of a negotiation is everyone involved to win and benefit. That’s how you meet in the middle. Understanding others instead of trying to be understood will help us engage with others.
