This book is an amazing tool for everyday life. Covey’s concept of the paradigm shift is something that every person should use day to day because it shows you a way of thinking of the big picture instead of judging something or someone right away. This book is an incredible tool to help each and every person grow and think about the ways they effect the world and the people around them.

Steven Covey’s book is a great tool for an individual to evaluate and redirect one’s life. Covey’s concept of the paradigm shift is instrumental for an individual to undergo change. I also really enjoyed reading that book.

I reas this book for another class the past semester and I loved it. It truly impacted my life giving me a different view of life. My favorite habits are 1 and 3, being proactive and put first things first.

This is a very interesting podcast. I am intrigued about this book and what else from it that I can put into my everyday life. I know that even without having read it, I have made a conscious effort to make some changes in how I go about my day. I try to wake up in a positive mood, and I’ve always had a strong family bond and values, thanks to how I was raised. I know I still need to work on my time management and prioritizing. I’m in Quadrant 4 a lot...I’m a work in progress.

Great points here, I recently has a talk with one of my employee about reacting and responding he is very young and this is his first corporate job.it is important for us to take sometime to understand a problem and think on how we can approach it rather then to react abruptly. This is something that can transpired through all aspects of our life not just professional! -Yesenia Reyes

After listening to the podcast, I really want to read this book! I found these tips to be very inspiring, especially the tip of beginning the day with the end in mind. Having the mindset of wanting to achieve your goals and making choices each day based on your goals is an awesome way to push through. Minor setbacks should not affect our overall mood and take us away from our goals.

This episode was great! I personally found Habit 1: the React vs Respond habit to be very helpful. Giving things more thought I feel usually ends with better results simply reacting instantly based off surface-level assumptions. I also liked how this was paired with the concept of the paradigm shift, which really highlights how assuming things can tend to be counterproductive to your understanding of people.

The 7 habits of highly effective people is interesting to me. I have read the book and used the tools in my work life. Perception is not always accurate and it’s important to assume positivity is something we should all do I try to live my life by these principles
