I have read this book and it has great tips. I like the point you highlighted about not making judgments. I think that in some situations people judge to quickly that it is important to make sure that we know not to jump to conclusions. Great podcast on the habits.

I enjoyed this podcast because being judgmental is something we all do and need to shift our thinking to being more positive. I also agree with meditation...meditating on a situation will help you dissect it and not to overthink. Centering our life on what makes us happy will be the “strong pillars” to help us to think positive on a daily routine.

The 7 habits written by Steve Covey is a must read for any manager (new or old). My favorite review in this part is the reminder of the circle of influence. It is very important to spend your energy in the correct spot.

This book is great! I was able to read it for Dr. Ricardo’s class. Highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t read it yet.

Perceptions can be deceiving. The oldest saying in the book is to not judge a book by its cover. We all do it, but we need to be more aware of this issue and look to change that. Being proactive is a huge part of responsibility and accountability. Decision making and dealing with the results of our decisions is a part of life. This podcast was insightful and eye opening. I need to read this book.

This is such a great book. I actually have a card on my desk at work with a list of the 7 Habits. Keeping the end in mind really gets me through my day at work. What I liked about this podcast that I can use is realizing that everything is interdependent. Another thing about the podcast was really looking at how my time is spent efficiently or not. I need to commit to rereading this book again in its entirety.

This is a great book that I had the pleasure of reading in Dr Ricardo's class last semester. In my personal experience reading the concept of the maturity continuum is key. I believe that to be truly successful as people commonly perceive it ( wealthy, known and appreciated) one must reach the last stage of this continuum known as interdependance. Interdependent people are usually so successful because they help other succeed in their personal quests for success.

This podcast does an incredible job at explaining the “paradigm shift” and the purpose of not judging someone or something without all the facts. It’s nice to hear someone speak about holding accountability and how that’s the only true way to change. We can waste all of our time blaming others rather than controlling the situations we have power over.

The book of the 7 habits is a great book that I read in your class last year. I learned so much from this book like how pardime shits change how you think. I’m and some one who is quick to judge and this hinders my ability to learn from everything around me. Also the fact of putting your energy in areas you have control will help reduce stress compared of worrying about stuff that you can not change.

After listening to this podcast I feel that I should probably read this book. It seems there is much to learn from the book. I think the habit that stuck out to me the most was to begin with the end in mind. I need to wake up each day with a positive attitude and set myself up to accomplish my goals. I need to focus on my goals and make decisions for my day based on those goals. I need to remain positive and not allow things to bring me down during the day.
