Miceli - MAN4442. I love learning about effective habits that I can use in my personal and work life. Learning to not make judgements before knowing the truth is a hard but such an important lesson in life and especially as someone who wants to be a boss one day. Every person has different backgrounds and it is imperative to give everyone a chance before making any judgements. The habit that resonates most with me is “begin with the end in mind” as I love planning & making decisions accordingly

Time is limited, so, evaluating and adequately managing duties based on importance is key. Instead of dollars as currency, activities could be best evaluated as portions of time. Leading to better understanding of what is important.

People should not make decisions before knowing the facts. People look at others and make preconceived judgments by the way someone appears. People have the option to react or respond. We all have decisions to make. We must own our decision even if it turns out to be the wrong one.

This is an excellent podcast during this time because it helps me stay on track as we near the middle middle/ end of the semester. These habits are great to know as they will help keep me motivated. One that will help me most is to prioritize, which is one thing I will continue doing on a daily basis. Keeping the end in mind is also a great tool to encourage motivation.

I learned a great deal about the importance of being proactive. In addition I learned a great deal on how to inhibit personal and professional change. This is a must listen. Very informational!

I have not read this book, but I am going to look into purchasing it for my children and myself to read. I think that now that I am older, I do live my life in a manner that I practice several of these habits daily. I wish that it would not have taken me until my forties to realize Habit number two, I would have lived my life much differently and I probably would not have had so many struggles along the way.

Great episode, being proactive has been something that I have learned through many years of work and general experience, by understanding that the more proactive energy I invest in my goals then the better results I will see, this has allowed me to hold myself accountable for my actions.
