This podcast was helpful as I have never heard about this book before so will definitely add it to my reading list. Steven coveys 7 habits of highly effective people seems to be an inspirational and motivating read. From the habits listed and points made by Dr.Ricardo, I feel the podcast can help me to navigate challenging problems in my life and especially the workplace which is where we spend the majority of our time. I appreciate that self reflection is highlighted throughout the podcast.

A great podcast on a great book! I love Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective people. You covered the first half of the topics thoroughly, yet in a short amount of time. If I never read the book, listening to your podcast would make me want to!

MAN3240 - I enjoy Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and have read it for classes earlier in my degree. The example you brought up about the valet was a great reminder to not judge a book by it’s cover. This podcast has inspired me to re-read the book.

MAN3303-This podcast that partially discusses Steven Covey’s 7 habits of highly effective people has helped me realize what I personally should work on to be more effective myself. I can do this by being proactive, which is taking personal responsibility and being a go-getter. Starting with conclusions in mind, which is considering how you ideally want to live your life and what you eventually want to achieve. Finally, stop procrastinating! Start with highest priority and work your way down.

Put first things first and always plan with the end in mind stuck with me. Often times we do not put the important things first then complain when we don’t do well at it. Planning in always important as it helps you know what needs to be done in advance. Outline how you plan to get things done is helpful is keeping work effective.

From this podcast, the habits I do have is being “proactive” and “put first things first.” I would benefit from “begin with the end in mind,” because I would like to be more positive, helpful, and live life with purpose and with fulfillment.

MAN3303- The first 3 Habits were very eye opening when I had to read it for another course I am taking. They all allow us to achieve something better whether it be personally or in the workplace. One thing that stuck out to me is putting first things first and how putting energy into something you can’t control can affect you not only mentally but physically also.

I enjoyed the part on the driver with the expensive car. It reminds us to not judge right away and everything may be as it seems. And even if he did own the car, whats the point in being upset at someone because they are more fortunate than us.
