I’ve always struggled with self esteem. I know I can do something and have no doubt about it, but when it comes down to actually doing the task, I start to doubt myself. I struggle with the confidence. At 36 years old, I need to really start building my confidence and self esteem

Surrounding yourself with positive people is an excellent tip to boost your self esteem. If you have low self esteem, being around people that feel the same way will not help you at all.

Self esteem is the confidence we have as an individual. Many people have high self esteem by thinking positive about themselves and take constructive criticism as improve. Many individuals have low esteem they will think less of themselves, feel judged and not like criticism. To increase self esteem is surround yourself with positive individuals.

I see low self esteem when it comes to students testing so much! I always try to remind them the only thing you can control is how much you prepare for the test. Also to not worry about the score after they take it and are waiting for a grade. Worrying about the grade will not change the grade at all! It's just bad stress.

It’s important to have a high self-esteem as a person. Having a higher confidence will help you in just about everything in life. People with a high self esteem are able to take on challenges in life. Surround yourself with confident people who motivate you. Step out of your comfort zone and conquer anything you want to tackle in life. Don’t doubt yourself.
