I have learned the importance on being supportive for employees working from home. I work from home all the time. I have done it for almost 10 years with two different companies. My supervisor keeps in touch with us often. She keeps that balance of communication to prevent the micromanagement mentioned in this podcast. Especially now, all our managers understand the importance of being supportive right now. They are available to us when we need to talk, whether it is work related or not.

I have been working from home part time due to Covid. I have really enjoyed it because I am able to do all of my work from home. I hope that I can continue this schedule in the future, because it is the best of both worlds. I am able to have the human interaction with my fellow employees half the week, and enjoy my time at home the other half of the week. Great post!

I have been working from home for the last four years and really enjoy it, and the main reason is because my organization really embraces these ideas. My manager is always in constant communication and gives me feedback to better perform my tasks.

Working from home. I wish my supervisor had the opportunity to listen to this podcast. Working from home was very stressful but I was grateful of having a job and now I’m happy of being back home. Good post!

I find the insight from these podcasts to be relevant as well as inspirational. This particular episode explains the right way to treat your employees in a remote setting. Dr. Ricardo has a firm grip on reality and how it can weigh us down at home and work. When the two are combined, making one more pleasurable surly will work to improve the other. Do the opposite and the reverse is true. What kind of manager will you be?

I thought that this was a great podcast with awesome content. It really drove home the point that it is imperative for managers to connect with employees through with a personable level of communication. Simply asking questions, and reassuring employees that you understand their situation and appreciate their efforts can go a long way in influencing productivity.

The information was very relatable as I just started a job working from home. As I start to help train new employees at my company. Make sure I keep that balance in feedback and be flexible in communicating remotely. The podcast was very informative.

I like that you pointed out that working from home is not so enjoyable for everyone. I am lucky enough to have my own private space. It has made it great for tutoring from home. Knowing that for some people it is the opposite is a good eye opener for managers/employees to make decisions by. -Mathew Spinosa
