The big take away I got from this podcast was, "People follow people who are confident in their abilities." Ultimately we follow leaders who we believe in and trust. Building trust is critical in making sure employees know you have their best interests at hand. It's also important that we be and set an example for people to follow. I think we can all learn something from Jurgen Klopps leadership characteristics. -Rebecca Torres MAN3303

MAN4442 EP10. I think that knowing what you are good at and focus on that is the key. This will help keep you driven. I agree with the building of trust and belief system between one another. As for on the job you want to create a team culture of unity and success or winning. Everbody loves a winner.

I wish we had more people like Jugen Klopp in our daily lives. The positive energy that we brings with him to everyone he interacts with must be very inspiring. An attitude of belief in oneself is contagious. Not arrogance, but confidence can produce great results.

Since I don’t follow “European football”, this is the first time that I have even heard of Jurgen Klopp. I believe that his 9 points for leadership are on point, particularly the points of leading by example and making big promises. It reminds me of another great football coach, Vince Lombardi. “ Leaders are made not born. They are made by effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.”~ Vince Lombardi

This podcast helped me to learn who this great leader is and what makes him a great leader. Confidence is the strength of one's personal achievement that one can deliver. He believes that his players must be as excited as he is to come and play. Belief and trust are aspects that leaders must portray. Believing in yourself and in others will give your surrounding peers the belief to do the same.

Jurgen Klopp is an example of what a truly great leader should be. Being a great leader can be done in any environment (such as being a manager). Klopp inspired team members and the fans of Liverpool, inspiration and the ability to develop trust is needed to be an excellent leader. From this episode, I learned that positive energy can create a better work environment and inspire coworkers to do well.

Leaders should always come with a vision. No task is easy and as a leader it is essential to know this. You have to have a strong mentality to lead. Klopp lead liverpool back to winning ways with his energy and passion and I believe leaders should strive to be like him.
